Recent tweets

Here are some of my recent tweets.

When your time is up and you fall, you can become a nurse log, and protect and nurture life at large. In forest nothing is lost, even death.

In order to grow, you need to have a root. The difficulty is that the root is invisible and can be quite easily overlooked and ignored.

If humans were able to change shapes like the moon periodically, what a dynamical life would follow. Just imagine that!

The value of diversity, whether biological or cultural, is that you are overwhelmed. You feel small.

To enrich and respect the diversity inside you means that you give up controlling everything. You float on a wave of things.

Having a chat with my philosopher friend Ken Shiotani. Pragmatism is different from utilitarianism, he says.

My belief is that any wisdom relating to pragmatism should represent the ability to naturally consider the act of reflecting upon oneself an integral part of the overall process towards ultimate and actual improvement and growth of oneself which requires subsequent proactive engagement to ensure such improvement and growth. If such reflections stop at a mere criticism in lack of implementable solutions or referenceable actions, it will only end up as something not only irresponsible but also something very harmful to the extent that it will cast a shadow of personal pessimism, non-confidence and lack of pride. Yes I agree Japan has been ulitarianistic rather than pragmatic which is a fundamental difference with the American mentality, and would add that we are in desperate need to rid of all of the irresponsible criticism in the media and await more of the pragmatic movements by respectable figures, similar to the likes of Ryoma Sakamoto of 150 years ago, which is infact not too long ago.

My friend and I were recently discussing about how involved with technology our daily lives have become. Reading this post makes me think back to that debate we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory falls, the possibility of downloading our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could encounter in my lifetime.

Dear friends, may I try to imagine? - when we look on the high technology is a depiction tool, The Beatles' electric guitars, Disney’s computers, such as for The Incredibles, Japanese’s Nikon cameras may go to the similar category?

How do we express own feelings?
How do we heal our solitude in the middle of the night?
How do we engage people's hearts and minds?

How about "post a comment on the qualia journal"?

oh.. sorry for my jumble of unrelated ideas.

How romantic very romantic ... what a smart & sweet phrase.
In addition, Dr. Mogi tweets this morning, "Other people are mirrors .. "

Indeed, I reflected and thought that people's price of memory does not fall, it often goes up.

(but the romantic atmosphere may drop down to around 3 degrees or more ..)

I am a weak reader in English, so, sorry always if my comment is out of the context.
